TERMS OF SERVICE
A shared record, used with care.
These Terms govern your use of Bright AI Future’s website and any Bright connector or integration that links to them. By using those services, you agree to these Terms.
What Bright provides
Bright is a public, evidence-led exploration of AI-enabled human progress. It presents editorial material, source links, exhibits, and tools for exploring documented developments. Bright is for general informational and educational purposes. It is not medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice.
Evidence changes. Bright works to distinguish documented results, limitations, uncertainty, and possible implications, but it does not promise that every item will always be complete, current, or error-free. Check the original sources and seek qualified advice before making consequential decisions.
Connectors and third-party services
A Bright connector may let you ask a third-party service, such as Muse, to share information with Bright or let Bright take an action you request. A connector may act only within the permissions you authorize. You are responsible for choosing what to connect, for the instructions you give, and for confirming important results.
Third-party services are operated under their own terms and privacy practices. Bright does not control their availability, content, or decisions. You may disconnect a service using the controls provided by that service or the product through which you connected it.
Use Bright responsibly
You may not use Bright or a Bright connector to:
- break the law or violate another person’s rights;
- access accounts, data, systems, or services without permission;
- interfere with, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or evade the security of the service;
- distribute malware, deceptive material, or content that is unlawful or harmful; or
- misrepresent Bright’s evidence, editorial judgments, or source material as your own or as a guarantee of an outcome.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect Bright, its users, third parties, or the integrity of the service.
Content and intellectual property
Bright’s original writing, design, software, and organization are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Source material, quotations, photographs, trademarks, and linked content may belong to their respective owners and remain subject to their own usage conditions. See Evidence & method for guidance on interpreting Bright’s record.
If you send feedback, a correction, or a suggestion, you give Bright permission to use it to evaluate and improve the service. You keep ownership of material you submit, and you should submit only material you have the right to share.
Availability and changes
Bright may add, change, pause, or remove content, features, connectors, or access to the service. We may update these Terms as the service develops. The date below will change when we make a material update. Continuing to use Bright after an update means that the revised Terms apply to your later use.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, Bright is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Bright and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
Privacy
Bright’s Privacy page explains the current website’s data practices. A connector may also present additional notices at the time you authorize it. Those notices are part of the information governing that connector’s use.
