What if a question opened a world, not another paragraph? Google’s new Gemini library offers guided visual scenes, including a jet engine, lightning and the Silk Road.

Learners tap labels to examine a topic in layers.

What you can try now

Google says the library is available through the Gemini student hub: choose “Try immersive explorations.” It lists English, Indonesian, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, French and simplified Chinese; other language settings currently receive English.

Audio narration and direct chat entry are forthcoming.

Before planning a lesson, check school-account access and administrator settings against Google’s education guidance.

Make the learner do the explaining

A classroom idea: ask students to predict an answer, then explore. Close the scene and have them explain what changed in their understanding. Check against a trusted textbook.

Ask what the scene leaves out. This is Bright’s suggested exercise, not a tested result.

The test: what can learners explain when the picture is gone?

Bright has not firsthand-tested the scenes.

No learning-outcome results were reported.
