The claim in context

The human problem

Teams need practical access to the deployment engineering that turns model weights into working services.

The prior constraint

Open weights alone do not supply optimized inference, token processing or all the systems needed for a complete service.

AI’s actual role

DeepInfer executes DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash inference; DSpark, bounded replay and scheduling target inference efficiency, while deepseek-recipe handles request and response translation.

The documented result

DeepSeek released Apache-2.0 DeepInfer offline inference code and an October 20 update to its MIT-licensed deepseek-recipe toolkit. Provider curves separately measure prefill and decode on specialized hardware; Bright has not reproduced the launch curves.

Why it may matter

Inspectable inference and token-processing software could widen deployment options and help teams investigate performance bottlenecks.
