A mammogram. A moving machine. A weather model. A GPU in orbit. Follow the work across 8 worlds—and see exactly what the evidence supports.
This collection brings together 24 Bright records across human problems and fields of work. Each belongs to its subject world, with the claims, evidence and limitations kept together.
Bright first encountered this work through material curated by NVIDIA, then checked it against the sources in each record. Company accounts remain labelled as company accounts; they are not independent verification. This is discovery context, not an endorsement.
A breast cancer found by imaging is typically about 12 mm across. One found by a hand — a woman's own, or a clinician's — is typically about 21 mm. In India, where almost no one is screened, four out of five recorded tumours are already 3 cm or larger when they are found.

A machine drives a vegetable field, photographs every plant, decides which are weeds, and burns them with short laser pulses. In 2024 field trials in New Jersey and New York, it controlled weeds as well as or better than the standard herbicide programme.

Weather forecasting has spent fifty years as one of the largest users of supercomputing. AI models trained on the archive now produce comparable global forecasts in minutes, and the weights are published. The measurements they depend on are the part that has not become cheap.

What these sources do not yet establish
Each record’s evidence layer keeps these distinctions. They are especially material here:
The screening that reached her
MedCognetics’ public page describes triage assistance. A rural-India partnership, screening totals and lives-saved claims are not established by the reviewed source and would need program-level evidence and follow-up. No fictional patient account is used.
The reviewed Starcloud mission page names Gemini, while NVIDIA’s earlier pre-launch report described a plan to run Gemma. The record keeps that discrepancy visible.
The national grid-capacity estimate is not a measured Aurora result. DLI and Inception participation totals need dated counting methods. The reviewed biopharma page supports Genentech and Amgen workflows; other partner names are not established by it.
Some records appear in more than one world. Source dates describe publication, not a current event. Bright’s evidence method ↗
